In 2008 He has honored the title of Knight of the Republic on a proposal from the Prime Minister’s office.
Born in 1964, entrepreneur, married with three children, he distinguished himself since an early age in the Christian inspired associationism by fostering different economic activities of social and mutualistic solidarity in the fields of the house, formation, assistance and by presiding over different co-operative companies and enterprise associations in Brianza and Milan.
In 1990, he establishes the GDF Group Spa, company for which he is President and CEO as well as the major shareholder (81%).
Nowadays, the company operates as a Holding of a group of innovative enterprises and utility companies with a consolidated prestige operating in distinct areas of activity, such as real estate, hotelier, catering, formation, sports, wellness and up to 2019 also the healthcare sector.
Institutional activities
In 1997 he was elected municipal councilor at Palazzo Marino in Milan and he chaired the Public works Commission.
From 2000 to 2003 he was Councillor of the Lombardy Region for General Affairs, Security, Local Police, Personnel and State Property.
Sub-commissioner for the Government for the emergency related to the restoration of the Pirelli Tower – headquarter of the Lombardy Region – after the plane crash that occurred in 2002, his efficiency in reconstruction was evidently shown up. Subsequently, he became a member of the Administrative of Board of Infrastructure Lombarde Spa.
In 2008 was awarded the title of Knight of the Republic.
In 2018 was elected in the Congress of Deputies for the centre-left coalition in the 9th single-member constituency of Milan/Sesto.
